collaboration

“The school library program promotes collaboration among members of the learning community and encourages learners to be independent, lifelong users and producers of ideas and information.”
American Association of School Librarians

I am always excited to work in a collaborative planning session with colleagues. I find that google forms and docs are a great way to get the pre-planning ball rolling towards collaborative goals and success.  Over a period of seven years in my elementary library the campus benefited from 10 grants that I wrote through collaborative planning with teachers to meet specific goals. We achieve more for our students together! For a list of grants I wrote as a librarian and Fine Arts facilitator click here.
