So glad to share today with Teacher Fellows Cohort 30, an amazing group of graduate students. Here are the slide decks we are using as we create with paper and flexible google tools! Thanks for participating, contact me here with questions.
customizing google doc headers with a google drawing
With back to school here, sometimes docs need to have a little slice of your class theme or personalization with your bitmoji! I used google drawings to create a few different headers for my docs. Along with changing the doc background color, I thought personalized headers would be another way to make students feel the excitement and sense of community for back to school. The doc below has a color that isn’t glaring white, which some readers prefer, and would be a good background color for some math graphs or images.
The drawing is transparent, so any color can work with it. To see another sample doc click here. Just create your drawing as you like and insert it as a header. I also customized the drawing size to be about 3 inches in height and cropped as needed.
google slides and drawing love. again.
Today I will be talking my love of all things slides and drawings at Fusion in Hays. Hands down my go-to creation tools when I want students to express their collaborative or independent learning with a dash of creativity and communication when they are ready! Check out the slide deck below, happy creating!
