Happy International Polar Bear Day! Since there is both a day and week to celebrate polar bears and raise awareness of their environmental plight, I made a bitroom to read all about these amazing marine mammals. Included are some crafts and songs. I also worked on a bear/hibernation room, too. Click on each image or link to make your own copy to edit.

donut day bitroom and coloring celebration
There are a couple of days folks celebrate donuts in the US, but any day is a better day with donuts as far I am concerned! This year we observed Donut Day on November 5th. I made this donut bitroom library to celebrate with some great books and links. Then we had to color a bit, too! You can click the bitroom image and use FILE, make a copy to edit this donutfest! Scroll down to see our donut-inspired coloring break mural posted in the hallway at our elementary campus.

batty about bats and spiders are NOT spooky
Love all the things about October- so I HAD to make rooms to promote arachnid love and the cuteness of bats. I updated the bat room I used last year with a few new books and crafts, and the spider room is not overly Halloween so it can be used to celebrate literature about our many legged friends all year.
