When remote learning kicked off in earnest there were quite a bit of google slide assignments. I wanted to kick them up a notch, so I added student drawings with a layered picture of the student IN the drawing. It just added another detail that forced them to put themselves IN the biome, or the poem, or whatever the assignment focus happened to be.
